Supplements. Where do we even start? There are so many out there now and so much information it can be incredibly overwhelming if you’re just starting. Disclaimer: this is in no way medical advice and you should consult with your physician before starting any new supplements.

Anyone who has even sort of delved into supplements knows how many are on the market now. Where do you even start? When it comes to skincare and your individual concerns, there are a few that can help improve various issues. Let’s dive in.

Acne: if you suffer from acne, taking a quality pre and probiotic can be a huge game changer. Lots of research is coming out about the gut being a huge controller of our health. Having a balanced gut microbiome is essential for clear skin. Looking for one that contains live bacteria is even better. Another great addition you can add is liquid chlorophyll. This is incredible at oxygenating the blood and helping keep skin clear.

Aging: getting older, none of us can avoid it, but there are things we can take to help combat it. Collagen is a great place to start. Find a high quality powdered collagen and add it to any hot beverage. Taking it in conjunction with vitamin C also helps your body absorb it better. Another incredible addition is beef liver capsules. These are an incredible source of vitamin A (retinol) and trace minerals. I have noticed an incredible change in my skin since incorporating them.

Dull complexion: everyone gets this from time to time. When you do, it’s time to bump the antioxidants. CoQ10 is an incredible skin antioxidant and can help to create brighter and more supple skin. The all around benefits of taking it are also incredible. Hibiscus tea is also an incredible way to brighten your skin. It is an incredible source of vitamin C and is known to be very brightening for the skin.

There are so many more out there and we can definitely do some deep dives, but for now, here is a great starting point!
