My favorite things I order off Amazon: Skin

Amazon… Probably one of the greatest inventions of our lifetime. Thank God Jeff Bezos decided just selling text books wasn’t going to get him anywhere. Anyways, beauty products: generally I am hesitant to buy a ton of beauty products off of amazon because third seller parties can often have expired items, or, even fake products. If it is a medical grade skincare product, make sure you do your research and buy it from their storefront (if they have one, many do not and require you to purchase in a brick and mortar location, ie: Zo Skin Health). There are however, great random amazon only products that I have found and use myself.
First, deputing eye patches. These are amazing. Literally no idea what the packaging says (different language) and I have to cut the eye opening on one side for comfort, but they are so good at depuffing your eyes in the morning or before going out. What I love about these is that they go on top of your eye as well as underneath where traditional eye patches go. 10/10 love. Another one I have tried and love are these Skyn Iceland hydro cool firming eye gel patches. They are more expensive, but they are easy to travel with and I love putting them in the fridge so they are extra cool and depuff even better.
Need a good lip treatment? The Revision Lip Replenisher is one of my favorites. It is super hydrating and can even be worn overnight. I love carrying a super hydrating lip treatment at all times, especially when we are entering winter and my skin and lips dry out even more. Revision is one of the high end brands I trust to buy on Amazon because they a have a huge storefront run by the brand. If you love Revision, another one of my favorite products of their is their Papaya Enzyme Cleanser. It is super brightening and helps brighten dull skin.
EltaMD is also a brand I trust buying over amazon. They too have a great storefront. My favorite sunscreens they sell are the UVClear (non tinted, or tinted) for acne prone skin or reactive skin. The Daily Face Sunscreen (non tinted, or tinted) for dry or mature skin, and UV Physical, which is their mineral sunscreen and best for sensitive skin or those who prefer mineral sunscreens. It is also great post procedure because it is so gentle.
This ice roller is great if you want one but don’t want to spend the money on the Skinny Confidential one yet (which is also great). I also like to buy Mighty Patch off of amazon to have on hand. These are wonderful for helping you stop pick zits. You pop one on when the zit has come to a head and let it do all the work for you. It will suck out all the gunk and you will have a totally flat spot after you peel it off. Another product for breakouts is the Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant. It is one of my most recommended products to clients who are suffering from acne breakouts. It is so effective at helping sooth and heal breakouts, as well as keep them from coming back. Last but definitely not least, my MOST recommended product to clients and friends…. The La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5. THIS. STUFF. IS. AMAZING. Whatever your skin type, this product will hydrate, soothe, and help repair a damaged barrier. In all my time recommending it, I have only had one client report it didn’t work for them. The price point is insane, and it just works. If you buy anything to try, this would be it.
I hope you enjoy some of my favorites- and as always, let me know if you love them as much as I do!
