Do you ever randomly stumble onto a small shop and immediately fall in love with it? That was me when I discovered Sun Folk Shop. This small shop is run by Rose, who has an incredible breadth of knowledge regarding health and ingredients and how they interact with our bodies. Her shop focuses on small businesses who are ethically sourcing their ingredients and using the most organic material available. Everything in the shop is so well thought out. I have purchased a few items from various vendors featured, and so far have been really really impressed.

This leads me to my most random discovery: Warm Feelings Saffron Latte Jar. When I tell you this stuff is good… oh my gosh, it is so freaking good. An instagram post from Rose on the shop’s page was going on and on about how yummy it was and I had to try it. Rose recommended using it with any of your favorite teas at the end of the night. I ended up using it with a turmeric and ginger tea from Rishi (12/10 would buy this again), adding in my favorite milk (so far my favorite combo has been oat or macadamia milk), the recommended amount of Warm Feelings, and maybe a teaspoon of Manuka honey (I get mine from Costco). This drink is seriously the most delicious and cozy thing I’ve ever made. The saffron is so subtle but adds this incredible undertone to the tea flavor. I find it has paired beautifully with the Rishi tea too. An added bonus, it totally curbs any sweet cravings I have at the end of the day when I am trying to cut back on sugar.

An added bonus of the drink: saffron has been used for thousands of years medicinally. It helps fight acne, pigmentation and can even help treat dark spots when used topically. The best benefit of it is the richness in antioxidants, minerals and vitamins, which help improve your skin from the inside out. You definitely won’t regret trying this combo.

Let me know if you end up going for it!
